About Michael Filemon

Michael Filemon received his Master's degree in Dutch Law from the Radboud University Nijmegen in 2008. Prior to studying Dutch law, Michael successfully completed the Management, Economics and Law program and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree.

After his studies in Dutch law, Michael started working as a lawyer at a large law firm in Brabant. There he developed himself within the legal disciplines of general contract law and contract law and he was jointly responsible for various group proceedings against Dexia Bank concerning the infamous share leasing issue at the beginning of this century.

In 2011 Michael made the transition to TRC-Advocaten. At TRC-Advocaten Michael focuses on insolvency law, corporate law and inheritance law. Michael is regularly appointed bankruptcy trustee and liquidator of estates by the District Court of Oost-Brabant.

Michael has successfully completed the specialization courses: "Insolad Grotius Specialization Course in Insolvency Law" and "Course in Inheritance Law" of the Academy for Legal Practice.

Michael is a member of the "Vereniging voor Insolventierecht Advocaten" (INSOLAD) and the "Vereniging Erfrecht Advocaten Nederland" (VEAN). He is a board member/founder of the entrepreneurs association "Netwerken In Vertrouwen" and (privately) a board member/founder of "Whiskyclub Eindhoven" (WCE).
