Standing up for creditors' interests

Standing up for creditors' interests

As a creditor, you are not necessarily empty-handed in the event of (imminent) bankruptcy. Especially prior to bankruptcy, there are often still possibilities to collect your outstanding debt. Apart from using the right collection tool (e.g. by filing for bankruptcy of the debtor), it is important to consider what rights you can still assert to secure your claim. For example, a valid retention of title or a right of claim (which rights can still be invoked after bankruptcy, provided this is done in a timely manner). TRC Advocaten can provide you with specific advice on these matters.
