Environmental Law

Environmental Law

Environmental law regulates the physical environment in which we live. This includes the environment, water, nature and, in particular, spatial planning. Environmental law involves a constant stream of regulations. Unlike other areas of law such as, for example, the Civil Code, environmental law changes regularly. After extensive amendments to the Wro, for example, and the introduction of the Wabo, these regulations too will soon be replaced again for the new Environmental Law. Besides being subject to frequent changes, environmental law is also complex because regulations are always needed for separate technical aspects, such as noise, air, light, water and nature.

  • zoning procedures
  • nature protection
  • environmental permits
  • planning damage and loss compensation
  • soil contamination
  • soil remediation
  • decisions, regulations and policies
  • labor migrant housing
  • government liability
  • expropriations and forbearance obligations
  • administrative fines, order under penalty and administrative coercion
  • enforcement

Environmental law is complex. Therefore, when filing an objection to a zoning plan or submitting a request for planning damage, for example, help is often needed from an expert in the field of environmental law. People often lack the necessary knowledge and do not know what needs to be taken into account. It is therefore desirable to consult with a lawyer who specializes in environmental law.
